Why feed in early spring?

Why supplement feed with AntlerXtreme this time of year? Although we are not in the antler growth phase quite yet, we are in the recovery stage for both bucks and does. We are also in the fetus development stage for does. We want our bucks fully recovered from the long rut before going into the antler growing season to allow them to reach their maximum potential.
